Very comfortable and durable . If you like a firm mattress this is it. I have a bad back and can actually sleep on this with no problem. Make sure to go to the hardware store and purchase a roll of peel and stick foam weather stripping to apply to the slats. This mattress will not stay in a couch position on any futon frame without this additional step. The matress just doesn't like to bend which makes it an excellent bed

This is a very good mattress. I bought it to replace a Simmon's Ortho Rest futon mattress (I do not recommend the Simmon's mattress). It's nice to be able to sit down without feeling the steel bars underneath the mattress.
The mattress is thick and firm (maybe a little too firm, but still a large improvement).
The weight of the mattress makes it a bit difficult to convert from a bed into a couch with my cheap, somewhat defective frame; but I have a new frame on the way, so maybe that will resolve that issue.
Overall, a great mattress.

I wouldn't recommand this mattress as a bi-fold.This mattress is soo hard that it dosn't stay folded as it is suppose to. I paid [$]for it and I don't know were to store it since I use it in a den room as a couch.It is a good mattress if you use it as a mattress, not a couch. I though that a futon's use was made to convert as either a bed or a couch. I am sorry that nobody never tell me this little detail. Too bad for me!!
