Comments about August Lotz Signature Solid Oak End Table:

The design and finish of this piece are fine.

However, the quality of the assembly done in China is poor. One of the four wooden braces supposed to be attached to the table top was neither glued nor screwed to the top - it was loose in the box - causing me to go to the hardware store to get some minor parts to finish what should have been done by the factory.

More importantly, the remaining three leg braces are secured to the table top in such a way that the top is not square with the legs. Viewed from above, the top is rotated several degrees from being correctly aligned with the legs.

Until these problems with assembly quality are fixed I cannot recommend this piece.
